Lou Wine Shop is a neighborhood wine merchant serving Los Feliz and surrounding communities. We specialize in natural and unusual wines, with an emphasis on wines from France’s Loire Valley, Beaujolais, the Jura, the northwest and south of Spain, the northeast and south of Italy, California and Oregon, Austria, and anywhere else winegrowers farm the land with respect and work wonders with the grape varieties that are historic and traditional to their regions.
Before the pandemic, we offered thematic tastings—often with a visiting winemaker or wine importer— on Fridays between 6-8 pm and Saturdays between 4-7 pm. In addition to our Friday and Saturday tastings, we often hosted tastings throughout the week with visiting winemakers, importers, and food and wine writers, depending on their availability.
